GRIMME
Harvest Equipment
Grimme Potato Harvester SE 75-20:
Grimme
single row Potato Harvester SE 75-20 with 2-tonne bunker capacity.
A Grimme machine with innovative engineering features, covered
by international patents, which gives higher output, more
effective separation and even gentler crop handling.
Three
tasks in one:
Soil separation, haulm removal and gentle transport of the
crop up to the first separation section using a unique dual
web system.
Grimme Potato Harvester SE 75-30/40:
Grimme
single row potato harvester SE 75-30/40 with approx. 3- or
4-tons bunker capacity. Gentle digging, efficiency and high
performance with two important international patents: Sieving,
haulm extraction and gentle transfer in one step. From 2002
we offer as an option a pre-cleaning and grading element.
For sideling ground we now also offer automatic levelling
as an option.
Powerful
and gentle as never before: the new SE 75/85-55
“There
is nothing that cannot be improved!” – From this
statement the new SE 75/85-55 was developed. Nowadays this
range of machine is the most widely sold offset trailed
potato harvester of its kind. More than 8,000 machines have
been supplied and are working away reliably – high quality
machines made by Grimme. Based on the successful
SE-technology, Grimme now presents the most powerful single
row harvester in its class, the SE 75/85-55. The machine has
approved with various further development for the practical
use. Among other things, the machine is now equipped with
a larger bunker
with a capacity of 5,8 tonnes as well as the latest Grimme
digital technology. This machine matches the requirements
of the potato grower who is looking for a machine which fits
between the existing 1-row and 2-row machines.

Two row
harvesting at its very best. A trendsetting and innovative
designed two-row, offset-lifting potato harvester, equipped
with a six tonne capacity bunker. This machine allows higher
output per hectare per day and more haulm cutting power to
cope with widely varying field conditions.

Windrower GVR and RL 1700
Wherever
“clean and bright potato skins” and set skin potatoes
are required by the farmer or the customer, Grimme windrowers
can be found. And whoever thought that these machines are
only for small acreages is wrong. Because: Both have harvest
technology taken from the Grimme 2-row harvesters. And because
of their reliability, high output and low maintenance these
machines are ideal for harvesting large areas. The GVR and
RL 1700 (with extended main web) are generally used in fields
where harvesting “by hand” is normal. The RL 1700
(with haulm separation) is mainly used for the 2-stage harvest
system. The potatoes are windrowed into a 50 cm wide bed.
After the drying period, where the potato skins set and increase
their resilience, a conventional potato harvester then lifts
the crop. This system also increases the output of the potato
harvester. – Together you are harvesting success!
The new GT 170 Harvester
One
of the most noticeable advantages of the new GT 170 harvester
is the completely new chassis design and drive construction
which provides excellent visibility to the sieving area. But
you should also have a look at the other innovative developments.
One is the reduced operating cost because of the reduced maintenance
requirements and the reduced wear. Another is the multitude
of original Grimme options available. With these it is easy
to adjust this 2-row elevator harvester to the optimum for
different harvest conditions. A further contributor to high
output and quality is the innovative Grimme TERRA-CONTROL
depth control system, which is gentle to your crop and maximizes
output – and because of the latest design of the Grimme
MULTISEP separator, this reliable machine works successfully
in all conditions. The new GT 170 potato harvester: relaxed
harvest – and harvesting success!

Potato Harvester GV 3000:
Innovative
and powerful, the trailed four row potato harvester with elevator.
High performance and a clean crop from the Multi-Sep or RS
separator; gentle handling of the crop and low ground pressure.
World innovation: the new VARITRON 270 self-propelled potato harvester.
When first seeing the machine, operators will quickly appreciate the unrivalled view available of the intake unit. A second look will convince you of the machine’s capability for increased harvesting, sieving and separating facility and the benefits of the 7 tonne bunker. It is possible to adapt the powerful machine to the individual potato, or vegetable, harvesting conditions to ensure efficient and gentle harvesting. A choice of 280 or 326 HP Mercedes-Benz engines ensure the machine always has the power to do the job. Separator options available include Roller separator, VARIO RS, MULTISEP, Double-MULTISEP, and fine haulm elevators bottom and top (single or in combination). Customers can also chose from wheels all round, or a combination of wheels and rubber track unit to extend the harvesting season in adverse conditions. As always at Grimme, the main focus is gentle harvesting combined with maximum possible output. A powerful ring elevator with large pockets and patent pending active side finger combs ensures a smooth crop flow from the separation system to the picking area. The crop can be delivered directly from the picking table to the consumer. Grimme’s innovative VISUAL-CONTROL VC 100 touchscreen terminal provides the operator with extensive monitoring and control possibilities.
Grimme Self-Propelled Potato Harvester SF 150/170-60:
Two-row
self propelled potato harvester based on the proven technology
of the trailed SE 150/170-60 harvester. The self-propelled
harvester offers high performance harvesting with unbeatable
operator comfort and convenience. Fully computerised controls
and a video monitoring system (4 cameras and twin-monitor)
are included as standard equipment. The compact design makes
the machine highly manoeuvrable. Large flotation tyres give
low ground pressure and improve traction in wet conditions.

Grimme Self-Propelled Potato Harvester TECTRON 415:
Powerful
harvesting of a new dimension. Because the harvester intake
is forward of the rubber tracks the ground has not been travelled
over before digging, thereby eliminating any crop damage usually
caused by the front wheels. The high capacity foldable 15
tonne bunker allows unloading to be carried out on the move.
KS Series Gives you more: The haulm topper from Grimme.
Year
by year haulm cutting becomes more and more important for
the harvest. For more than one good reason: Haulm toppers
do not only allow an easier harvesting but also guarantee
a more efficient harvest!Haulm cutting several weeks before
harvesting is one important step to wards a successful harvest.
It influences the yield, the quality and the storability of
the potatoes.Whether it is for table, processing or seed potatoes:
haulm cutting is an essential part of the campaign. Even for
starch potatoes it is becoming more and more important; especially
because topping before harvest produces even maturing and
skin setting. This means that the potato is less sensitive
and the roots detach easier from the crop. Another advantage:
Less haulm during harvest means increased speed during digging
– the refore increased output. Less haulm leads to less damage
and less work for the separator. The result is better separation
of the crop. The crop is cleaner and potato losses are reduced.
– With the haulm topper you get more for yourself!
